Gee-Heather

My name is Heather Gee; I’m 23 years old and a discovering artist. I say discovering because I’m still learning new things each time I pick up a brush, pen, pencil, or paper. I’m ever expanding my knowledge on both art and other topic. I love to create new things and as such my passion lies in the realm of fantasy and lore. Fantasy just has a fun freedom that other forms of art just haven’t leaded me to. With fantasy wither it be a book jacket, a logo, a written piece, or just a character design I can explore freely without the confides of reality.
Creating new creatures and worlds is something I find passion and drive in. My own creations are things I take inspiration from along with different lore from around the world. I've taken inspiration from a lot of European lore I've learned about along with some Asian lore; as well I've taken lore from other fantasy as more creative inspiration. Looking at other arts work for creature concepts is amazing; it helps to inspire me to create my own new thing.

My passion lies in both digital and writing. As much fun as it is to create something in a digital art sense it is just as much fun to make the same thing in words. Often my worlds and creations will work their way in to both forms. This love of creating and fantasy is why I enjoy books, movies, and video games so much. The lore and depths of universes each can create only makes me want to do the same with my own work.

I've gained this passion for creativity though traveling the United States as a military child, seeing new places always sparked new adventures within my mind. As I grew up I found myself drawing out these fantasies on paper to share with others. Once I hit high school my freshman English teacher introduced me to writing and I quickly grew a passion for that as well. Over the years my passion for both has only grown as my love of lore and fantasy has expanded more and more.
